The YMCA
Youth Judicial Program allows high school students (Grades 9-12) the
opportunity to learn about law though preparation and presentation
of a mock case.
Delegates are on self-selected teams of 6, with 3 youth lawyers and
3 youth witnesses. Teams are either on the defense side of the
case or plaintiff (prosecution for criminal cases). If you
have an even number of teams, half will be defense, half will be
prosecution. If you have an odd number (and 1 is an odd
number) please email Sam Adams at
sam@alyig.org
to see which side you will
compete as.
